Buffy the Vampire Slayer Joss Whedon has been throwing rumours around as to who he was going to cast for the lead role in his next project, Wonder Woman. Names included Charisma Carpenter, Katie Holmes and even Ben Affleck.
However few people saw the suprise casting of Gene Simmons coming. In a statement released yesterday Joss said “Gene’s outlandish personality makes him an excellent candidate for the role. I really wanted to do something post-modern with the project and I feel casting a male in the lead is the way to achieve that.”

Katie is now the proud mother of a baby boy they are rumoured to be naming “Thomas” and her rep said that both were in good health.
