Mary-Kate and Ashley apply for gay marriage

Mary-Kate and Ashley have filed a motion with a Los Angeles judge to allow them legally marry as a gay couple. They claim that as they are a gay couple rather than a male female couple the laws surrounding inter-family marriage do not apply and therefore they should be legally free to do so. If upheld by the court they could save hundreds of millions of dollers per year in tax avoidance.
